The ten minutes most people put off for years
One email a month checks you are alive. If you stop answering and two people you trust confirm you have died, we deliver your letters to the people you chose. If you are alive, nothing ever leaves.
1 letter, 1 recipient. No card needed.
One tap tells us you are alive. That is the whole task.
You tap this once a month. Nothing else happens.
If You Die is a verified dead man's switch: a service that writes down what only you know, bank logins, goodbye notes, where the will is, and delivers it to the people you choose, but only if you stop responding to our monthly check-ins and two people you have named separately confirm you have died. It is not a will and does not distribute assets; it delivers the messages and instructions a will cannot carry. Personal plan is £6 a month, Family plan is £18 a month for up to five people, and setup takes about ten minutes. Run by Thrive Haven Ltd, a UK company (Companies House 16319387).
How it works
To your daughter. To your partner. To your co-founder who needs the passwords file location. Each letter is sealed to one named person.
One tap tells us you are alive. Miss it and we remind you, then wait 30 days, then ask your witnesses.
Two people you trust must both confirm before anything is sent. Each recipient gets a private, secure link to exactly what you left them.
The one fear that matters
Delivery needs all of these, in order. A holiday, a lost phone or a lazy month cannot send your letters. Logging in once resets everything.
This last step is the only moment anything is ever sent
Logging in once resets the whole chain to zero.
Who it is for
Our promises
We never read your letters. They are encrypted at rest.
No human and no AI ever analyses what you wrote.
Your words are never used to train anything.
Delete everything with one tap, any time.
If we ever shut down, you get 30 days notice and everything is wiped. Published sunset policy.
Operated by Thrive Haven Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company no. 16319387.

Questions
Reminders, a 30 day waiting period, and two witnesses who must both confirm. Any login resets everything instantly.
No. Letters are encrypted at rest and no human or AI ever reads them. We see who you write to, never what you wrote.
An email from us with a private, secure link to the letter you wrote for them. No account needed. They see only what was addressed to them.
No. Letters are words, not legal documents. For property and money you still need a will. Many people keep both.
Our sunset policy is public: 30 days notice, time to export everything, then all data is wiped.
Because email silence is not proof of death. Two people you trust must both confirm before we deliver. They cannot read anything; they can only confirm.
Most people put this off for years. You are already here.
