We are opening twenty Founding member spots in our first batch. A Founding member is somebody who pays once, then never pays again. In exchange they get unlimited everything, every future feature we ever ship, and a direct line to us for feature requests, bug reports, and the shape of the roadmap.
We want twenty people on our side as the business grows. Not investors. Not customers in the usual sense. People who chose to be here early, who care about the product enough to tell us when we are about to make it worse, and who get every improvement for the life of the service in return.
When the first twenty are taken, the next batch opens at a higher price. The price you pay is the price you pay, no retroactive top-ups. If we close the service, we return your data and a pro-rated refund as described in our Sunset Policy.

What people ask about price.
How much does If You Die cost?
Free covers one letter to one person, forever. Personal is £6 a month or £60 a year for ten letters and monthly check-ins. Family is £18 a month for five accounts in one household. Founding member is one payment of £490, yours for life.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. Free gives you one letter to one recipient with quarterly check-ins and the full verification chain. No card needed to start, and you can stay on it as long as one letter is enough.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Cancel any paid plan within fourteen days of your first payment for a full refund, no questions. After that you can cancel whenever you like and keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
What does the Family plan include?
Five accounts in one household on one bill, each person fully private from the others, with their own letters, recipients, witnesses and check-in cadence. Extra seats are £4 a month each.
What happens to my money if you shut down?
Our sunset policy is public: 30 days notice, time to export everything, a pro-rated refund where one applies, then all data is wiped.
